We stayed here for 1 night in a private room and it more or less fit my expectations for the price. There was no real fuss with anything, the rooms were clean, WiFi is included, and we checked in and out without any problems. The only thing I didn't like was that in a doubles room there was only 1 pillow and bedcover which seems like an oversight to me. Otherwise a nice play to stay for a great price as well.

Nice hostel, not in the centre of town but I did walk into town most days, and otherwise the transport links are very good. Area is otherwise very quiet but with some restaurants. Clean, friendly hostel with a good reception. Kitchens were basic but again, clean. Bathrooms on every corridor. Could get a bit noisy but then again, it is a hostel. They have a garden but I didn't have time to spend time there. Would recommend as a quiet vibe hostel with nice d├ęcor as well. Thank you!

Hostel Dakura is clean and in a lovely, quiet area of town with free parking. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the internet is really terrible at times of day when others are on it - it just can't handle the bandwidth of multiple surfers. So if you need to do some real stuff online, be sure to do it early in the morning or mid-day when no one else is around! Also know that restaurants in the area close down before 11 or so, even weekends - only KFC & 1 other open late!

I found hostel dakura to be a very nice hostel, very welcoming receptionist called Lucas I think, he was kind and helpful always! The room was lovely but the bed was too hard for me, though my boyfriend was fine with it! Most of our experience here was perfect apart from sadly other guests.. At 5 in the morning I was awoken by a group of other people staying here playing the tuba?!! I assume a brass band was staying here also as in the early morning they were all practicing, so I barely slept.. Really dampened an otherwise good stay.. But this was not down to the hostel itself! I'd recommend this hostel to other people for definite :) just hope another bunch of kids playing instruments badly aren't at our next hostel

Staff was really nice & helpfull. Facilities - didnt check. Laundry takes 24 hrs. wi fi didnt work in 2 rooms but i hope thats temporary. Location is nice but not the old town or something to see. But its a balance of quite area & at the same time all was around - hair cut shop, bars, restaurants, chinese food, buritos, tea house, banks... better for long staying in Prague. something where u sleep & chrage. Not the hostel where u really wanna spend ur time. its a Cheap Hotel not Hostel

my 2nd stay at the dakura and as the 1st most enjoyable, all staff are very friendly, helpful, polite, and eager to be of assistance, just ask for directions and they find exactly the easiest and quickest route, overall I very much enjoyed my stay, and on my return to prague I would have no hesitation in booking the dakura again. thank you for a most enjoyable and welcoming stay until next time Anthony power

We stayed for 4 nights in their apartment. With two bedrooms, our own bathroom, kitchen and dining room it was sound cheap accommodation for our family. It was quiet, reception very friendly and in easy reach of the metro, shops, restaurants, pubs etc. We found some lovely places and could pop in and out of the city. It is still a hostel but much better than we expected, good cheap accommodation option for families visiting the city.

Liked: I really liked the friendliness of the hotel staff, the cleanliness of the room and the location! Dakura is close to public transportation and it is within walking distance of the Castle and Charles Bridge. I also really liked that the hostel has parking right outside! Overall, it is a very convenient location and it is definitely worth the price!

Disliked: Honestly, I liked nearly everything that Dakura offers its guests. Only thing that I partially disliked (and by partially I mean a 2 on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being "really disliked") was the shared bathroom, but nonetheless, I still thought that it was very accommodating and clean!
